My name is Lynn I am a senior sister on an upper gastrointestinal intestinal and colorectal surgical ward .

At Christmas a read an article in a local paper about a homeless man who the veterans connect had been called out to help . He had trench foot and some nursing needs . I felt that as a nurse I could offer help .

I feel duty bound to help really . And I felt in awe of the work already being done . That’s why I contacted Veterans connect
